Dr. James William Broxon, physicist, was born in Indiana in 1897. He earned his B.A. from Wabash College in 1919, before moving on to get his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1920 and 1926. Broxon was a teaching fellow in physics while completing his degrees at Minnesota, and was a professor of physics at the University of Colorado (Boulder), and an instructor at Yale.
